Covid 19 meeting conditions

SAPMA adheres to the guidelines provided by SA Health, which are updated on an ongoing basis. It is the responsibility of members to keep themselves up to date with these guidelines and if there is an aspect that affects them then they are not to attend either a club meeting or any club sanctioned event.

The club also has its own COVID-plan which sets out guidelines for holding its monthly club meeting. The plan sets out the limits on people attending the meeting and any requirements that must be met during that meeting.

Under the COVID plan:

  • Members to refrain from entering the clubrooms until all appropriate COVID requirements are in place (unless helping with setup).
  • All members must check in via QR code, or if they are unable to (for a valid reason) then manual sign in sheets will be available at the entrance.
  • Hand sanitiser is available and should be used where possible to minimise hand transmission.
  • Everyone is to maintain the 1.5m spacing when standing or seated
  • As the premises are licensed premises mask wearing is a requirement, unless the member has a valid medical reason for not wearing one
  • Any eating and drinking must be done while seated.
  • Modeller of the Month will continue with suitable cleaning of pens between uses. Table limits will apply.
  • Swap and Sell can continue subject to no crowding around tables and continued mask wearing.
